I am living my perfect day, every day. I am living my dream, and not a day goes past that I am not thankful. It is filled with all things I love. From getting up (not to an alarm), having time to enjoy my breakfast and coffee(not having to rush out the door) planning my day, being creative, maybe some product research, possibly some study, meetings with clients. ... more creativity. Mine is a simple life, lived without glamour and grandeur and I love it. Would I changes anything... yes, there is one thing that comes to mind that is missing from my perfect day list way back when! I am not living in a cottage in the country!
Describe my perfect day. When I saw this topic, it reminded of something I did a good 13 years ago, when I was living in Statford, after moving back when a relationship ended and soon after I left for Australia. I was still a chef, doing all kinds of crazy hours, I think it was during this period I worked for 3 months with out a day off. I did one of those visualisation exercises, writing out my perfect day. I can't remember all the things on the list, but looking back it feels as if I am more than half way there.

Three passions I have...
Ten years ago, even 2 years ago I would have have been able to write this so much more easily as I used to love and follow sport. Now it does not really interest me apart from the All Black big games and 20/20 cricket... I feel like I am being a little harsh on this subject! Time moves on people change!
Wow.. that was as harder as I thought it was going to be!
Worst Job, hmmm When I first thought of this topic a job came to mind. However when I thought about this position(job) it seemed unfair to judge it such as I look back now.
Now on to Best Job:
My Dream Job
Don't think I have any hidden talents, being a creative, an artist all my talents are pretty much on view.... daily lol. Maybe I should make something up, something fanciful. I wish I could say I could sing! or dance for that matter, but I can't. How ever I must say it is on my bucket list, the singing... not the dancing. I tried that when I was younger and unlike my sister I cannot keep time, find rhythm as for coordination forget it!
Hmmm, this blog is going to be an interesting write. When I first saw the topic, I thought "weird habits, I don't think I have any" I have always been different, think differently, act differently... But that is not weird just different! Maybe I guess anyone could look at me and say that is weird! I just live in my own mind, live my own live..so not being a great follower of societal rules, I probably don't see it. So maybe it is weird I don't watch the news, I know lots of people that don't either. So to me it is not such a weird thing! But possibly it is!
Ah refreshing liquids -
My favourite drinks, I have to mention 4 of my staples in my day to day life.
Oh la la, when I saw this topic this morning... ohh I know what I am going to write about.
Childhood memory, ok... Going back to my South Island years. I feel like I should be telling a story, but I don't have any. My memories are more like flashes of moments. One such I remember fondly, is going to Shag Point, with my family and we were in a fishing competition. I can't remember what I caught or what anyone else I the family caught, I just remember winning a little sewing kit. I am sure my sister won something as well but I have no recollection of that what so ever. I do wonder if it was the first thing I ever won, being that it has stayed in my memories all these years, I must have been about 7 maybe.
Share your favourite food and the story behind it.
Favourite, food!!! That would have to custard! I love custard, don't know why just do. How ever I do have a custard story...apparently at a wedding when I was a mere toddler I was sat in high chair at the back of the church with a bowl of custard and not a peep was heard of of me for the entire ceremony. |
