I have had a creative weekend. I have was lucky enough to find a selection of stamps on special and 50% of normal retail price so snapped them up and had a play. I love the new hearts and crosses... can't wait to do some more different designs and colours. These are the latest images to grace my photo shop files.... With "stranded" one being so popular I would expand this Giraffes journey to unknown lands.....

My next exhibition is at Wild at Heart.... here in New Plymouth. I have lots of ideas for this one.... I just need to get out and take photo's for it... but here is one in the mean time.... is a play I had and not what I would like to do..... well the idea I had...
I am taking part in the Annual Kumeu Art in the the Garden again this year... whilst in town I thought I would take some Auckland resin workshops. So let me know if this is something you would like to do?
These are two other National Geographic and Citrasolv, the left being a transfer and the right is also a transfer from the gladwrap.
I am running ahead of schedule ... here is this weeks freebie print.. This is a print that I designed for a colleague last Christmas and I thought it was about time I shared.
Ok I am nearly over my my citrasolv excitement for now ... but believe me it will be back.
This week I took a workshop on Gelatine printing an it was great! Loved It... below are some of what we produced and a little note/journal book that I made. Wow... I feel like a woman possessed his week, I was shown new technique this week and just had to do it. I have spent hours researching how and why it works and trying to find the product to do it. Finally today I think I have done it, thanks to Resene... here in New Plymouth, they were amazing! So friendly, and ever so helpful, absolutely going out of their way to help my find the product I was looking for...( I only have the name of two components that were in it) The below are all pages from a National Geographic magazing, I have photographed these probably a little early in the process.... but I think they are looking amazing. Their uses endless, Altered Book, Dominoes, Journalling, Mixed Media Backgrounds Aside from that I have found my joy for plaster again and I think I will do a tutorial next week using it on canvas! My resin works shops are going great.... Lots of happy creators now working on their own creations for Christmas presents. I am really looking forward to seeing their results. I have also done a fair bit of working on my transfer techniques and are looking forward to showing all you arty mixed media people, the below tiles are mdf with builders filler and use and image transfer technique over top. These are not finish.... I am just debating my next move..... LOL it could be a while with all that I have going on... I another on my wall that need completing and workshops to teach... not let alone my paid employment... Everything is a work in progress, much like life itself! :) Altered Image Studios took on another catering job this week, I did a book re-launch at Real Tart Gallery here in New Plymouth. It was fabulous... so if you are in New Plymouth and need a someone to look after your event give me a bell.
