Earlier in the week I was given a book of Victorian Images - needless to say I was very happy about this fact. So today I set out too create, a couple of hours spent with the jigsaw, little bit of sanding, a little bit more painting... waalaaa... still works in progress... but you get the general idea!
Finally made the time and got in to the gardens today, my flat mate did the pretties...Ice berg roses and Lavender while I headed into the vege patch. We now have (Pumpkin, which was already well established) Tomatoes, Potatoes, Aubergine, Corn, Sweet Pea, Spinach, Spring Onion, Celery, Beetroot, Broccoli. I am very much looking forward to my harvests :) It is been a while since I gave away a freebie, so here you are! Especially for the up coming Valentine Day!
Everyday I read the new posts on facebook I am so so inspired! My friends are all wonderfully creative, it is such a joy reading their posts, blogs and view their work. It really makes me want to run to my studio and start creating! This is what I was greeted with this morning! These stunning hand made books by Book Art Studios (Liz Constable) ... Picnic Hampers My latest endeavour was picnic baskets! Well myself and two other friends that is. But really in the scheme of things I have no idea what planet I was on attempting another project right now. So we have decided to work on it behind the scenes for now. Can't wait to have the time to get them up and running sometime in the near future! All in all heaps going on, I have not had much time in the studio of late, now I can actually see the floor and my work bench is not covered in boxes, it will not be long be for hands on creative itch over rides my digital creative side. So my office is set up! YAY... doesn't matter that still working at the kitchen table ... that move will come soon and I be in my little office photoshoping to my hearts content. Ok so again this year I made all my Christmas gift, Hampers...... I researched home made cleaning products... it has always been a passion of mine.... Good old White vinegar and Baking soda..... So so many uses! I think my favourite (one of actually) is the Hen food(yes I know not a cleaning product), anyway I called it Lady Harriet.. after my friend chicken, just as well they loved it! This was another of my favourites Bath Salts..... oh so simple and economical to boot.
I did get a little creative before I moved and had more of a play with the transfer technique... I LOVE these, I have even got the large menu canvas hanging in my dining room!
Well I am all settled in to my new home... and very busy with lots of different projects on the go... none of them crafty at this stage, but I am sure that will come. Social Media Taranaki and the EPIC Race and Social Media Solutions and
Febfast has started being February and all, and my fast is knocking alcohol on the head, so day one is done 27 togo, I am having a fresh juice every day.... I am even beginning to like beetroot in a juice, but have to say that Carrot, Apple, Watermelon and Ginger is still my Favourite. One of the projects I am taking part in a Picnic Hampers... we are doing a special one for Valentines Day. I will get some photo's uploaded later. |
