- Worst Job - Back in my 20's while I was studying to be a chef I needed to work to bay the bills so one of my part-time jobs was as a waitress in a Mexican restaurant in Auckland. I detested it! to say the least, back then that is. In hindsight I can see it was lack of knowledge and confidence that were inhibiting me. As nearly 20 years later, I am doing the same thing, (nearly, not Mexican) but I work and enjoy a part-time job which helps me support my business, (my art as a business) in a combined role as Chef, a Waitress, a Cashier.
Now on to Best Job:
- My best job... over a period of 10 years I worked for Sky City I was part of the opening team. This was a hard working period of my life, I did this in two stints left and went back a few years later. I practically loved all of my jobs, but Sky City stays in my mind because it taught me so much, gave me so many opportunities with I took and strived to succeed and sometimes failed. I met many people, had a great time. Till today I still miss some of the people I met and have lost contact with, even the ones I don't stay in contact with they are still dear to me for their knowledge, humour, passion. for that reason.. my time at Sky City... I will always love and appreciate!
My Dream Job
- My dream job is, where I am now! I have my own business which is creative and challenging. I remember while I was in the in between portion of my Sky City Stint, I wrote out an idea oh how I wanted my idea life to be.... And reflection on that.. a decent amount of that description it is. I love what I do, I love my life... and everyday I am thankful!
